Senior Sales Executive

A senior sales role responsible for the implementation of organizational sales strategies in the generation of new business. Ideal candidate is creative and strategic with an ability to manufacture sales opportunities to bring to market. Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills are required. Success of the role and levels of remuneration are determined by meeting pre-defined sales targets and budgets.
Job Description:
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding minimum monthly sales quota as determined by Director of Sales.
  • Prospect continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques, including responding to internal leads, referrals, telephone solicitation, cold calling and other methods.
  • Create and present written and oral sales materials, including e-mails, proposals and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Develop campaigns to maximize sales efforts; follow-up on referrals and self generated leads.
  • Establish sales strategies in search of business opportunities and enhancement in assigned territory.
  • Meet regularly with customers to assess level of satisfaction with products, applications and follow up.
  • Develop and submit proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs issued by prospective clients after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from management as appropriate.
  • Maintain timely, detailed knowledge with respect to products, programs, inventory, applications, pricing and competition.
  • Develop and maintain an annual goal and plan document to meet sales quota.
  • Generate forecasts for activity in the territory, including potential sales, market position, required marketing activities.
  • Maintain current list of all prospects in electronic database as specified by company.
  • Update weekly and monthly reports for management on status of sales funnel and current business.
  • Enhance and maintain business development skills through participating in a variety of training programs as assigned.
  • Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more sales experience in a business to business focused sales role with a solid history of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical services industry is a plus.
  • Graduate from Business, Management or Engineering discipline will be an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial character, capable of developing and executing an effective sales strategy for the assigned territory.
  • Able to plan, create, organize and make effective sales presentations an absolute requirement.
  • Proficiency in information technology computing skills and most general management and analysis applications.
  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills necessary.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing conditions in the work place.
  • Mature and independent, able to perform well with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities.
  • Multi lingual will be an additional asset.
Compensation Program:

First Year Potential: $60,000 plus
